2011 SEASON

Hiring without monitor: we ask you a deposit of 300 € per boat and ask for an identity document.

Training staff: navigations are accompanied by a State graduated instructor, specialized in sea and river kayaking.

In the event of bad weather: strong wind, important swell, the services will be moved to the channel of Charas, 15 minutes away, without any refunding or compensation.  We ask you to use your vehicle for displacements which remain at your cost.

At low tide: the departures and returns will be done at the landing stage to the island of Aix, Pointe de la Fumée or on the Channel of Charas.

Navigation: starts with a briefing on the safety instructions, the equipment of the participants and warming up.

Then, we go on board. An initiation to the techniques of paddling and to the operations of safety is proposed, with short exercises.

Navigation can start in full safety. According to your wishes, to the weather and to the sea conditins, we leave to discover the littoral sometimes cose to the coast, sometimes in the open sea. Your instructor continuously advises you how to improve your comfort of paddling and explains the outstanding landscape which line your route.

Conditions of navigation: can swim, to be able to submerge, to regularly practise a full nature activity, to be fit. To meet the safety instructions.

Recommmended nautical clothes: Flexible shoes, wetsuit, swimsuit, hat, sun lotion, water and something to eat. Bath towel, waterproof camera and waterproof bag.
